Abstract low-power microcontroller MSP430F149 is used as the main chip in GPRS transmit module design,Through microcontroller sends the GSM / GPRS module SIM900B,Which is embedded TCP / IP protocol,AT commands to achieve various functions. This paper shows that the module in the marine transport of hydrological data, focused on solving module hardware design,short messaging and GPRS network connectivity issues.
