Abstract The efficiency and durability of optic surveying instrument is closely related with maritime environment. To better accommodate maritime environment and based on operating features of the instrument, characteristics of maritime environment in practice are researched. The effect of maritime environment on optic surveying instrument is also analyzed. Then, some available countermeasures are provided, which can maximum increase the combat effectiveness of optic surveying instrument.
