Abstract The data upload rate and timeliness rate of regional automatic station is one of the key performance to evaluate the observed level and the operation ability.In the protection of the data transmission process of automatic station,it is found that many defect phenomenon appeared before stop working in some automatic stations which are unable to work.Because of multiple sites and a large amount of data,it is difficult to find these missing report information and lead to the complete paralysis of automatic station.In the view of the above situations,this paper analyzes and evaluates the fault reasons of automatic station through real-time monitoring data transmission and by missing reports,and realizes automatic monitoring and intelligent fault location for data transmission of regional automatic station.Using Matlab language development software,combined with the test of some running regional automatic station,compared with the results of field maintenance,it proves the feasibility and the superiority of the system.
