Abstract Rongcheng aerological station has adopted L-Band sounding system since April 1,2010 and accumulated some experience through the practical application. This paper analyses the reasons for error-prone part during the process of upper air meteorological observation and propose targeted approach to ensure the quality of meteorological data.
