Abstract In the view of differences between new automatic weather station DZZ4 and DZZ5 and the original CAWS600 automatic weather station,from the aspects of parameter setting,equipment maintenance,abnormal data processing,information feedback and so on,the methods for improving observation data quality of new automatic weather station are proposed,which can provide a guarantee for service quality of weather forecast.
