Abstract On July 10th,2015,China Meteorological Administration stopped generating the A and J documents. It requires that the duty officer establishes a well-rounded knowledge of how to process the abnormal data of the meteorology in order to update accurately and timely for the information center. According to set up the extreme parameters of min/H in SMO,the control of data quality and the audit rule base in MOI,by utilizing the meteorological factor curve in SMO,the long Z QC code files,MODS and ASMO,the abnormal data of the new automatic station are diagnosed. The method of how to process these abnormal data are summarized,which enhances the station staff's ability in controlling the abnormal data and ensures data transmission and usability.
