Abstract Regional automatic weather station is a necessary foundation of meteorological modernization,which is also an important component of meteorological forecasting and warning system. This paper discusses the analysis and treatment methods for common faults of regional automatic weather station. Firstly,the malfunction analysis and processing method of power supply system are discussed in two situations. Secondly,how to solve the faults in communication system is described from the two aspects. Thirdly,the common faults and troubleshooting measures are introduced. Finally,the routine maintenance methods of regional automatic weather station are summed up.
