Abstract In order to enrich the meteorological service means and improve the service capability,an Android based on multimedia publishing system of meteorological information was developed. Integrating the processing,publishing and receiving of the meteorological information as a whole,the system can support for the media data including text,image,audio and video. With a nice interface,stable and reliable communication,it can also publish the real-time meteorology and information of weather forecast and warning,which is good to meet the public demand for meteorological service.
