Abstract With the development of the special construction of agriculture,countryside and farmers,each provincial county meteorological bureau has built several agricultural meteorological observation stations.The soil moisture and water content measured by soil moisture meter are important factors for agriculture meteorological services.Effectively repairing and maintaining soil moisture meter in the local can greatly reduce the data missing time and improve the data availability.This paper introduces the working principle and system composition of intubation automatic soil moisture meter.Combined with common fault phenomena in the working,the troubleshooting methods and maintenance key points are summarized comprehensively.
