Abstract  The data quality evaluation system of automatic weather stations is designed to satisfy the demand of highway automatic weather station (AWS) assessment.With references to the existing workflow such as observing and data processing of the AWS,the data timeliness,integrity and availability of traffic weather station are focused investigated.This system has been applied in highway AWS assessment.The data obtained by this system will be used as criterion and reference for road surface temperature,road comprehensive conditions and other traffic meteorological observation equipments,which provide references for drafting relevant standards and business processes.This system shows flexible configuration with better expansibility that can be applied on data collecting,trans-coding and monitoring by modifying configuration.
