Abstract According to the application of our comprehensive meteorological observation service to deal with major disaster response,meteorological services of large-scale activities,heavy pollution and other severe weather monitoring etc,this paper solves the problems of the near surface low altitude detection such as lack of measuring methods,flexibility and high cost etc.Based on the features of micro multi rotor UAV,being a vector of multi rotor UAV,a fixed time low altitude weather and environment monitoring system is put forward carrying micro meteorological and environmental detecting sensors.The whole design scheme of the system is expounded in detail from the aspects of the research and development for the micro meteorological and environmental detection subsystem,data transmission based on the Cloud services,applied subsystem design and the small UAV business rules of meteorological observation etc.
