Abstract Mountainous environment causes some blocks to Zhaoqing weather radar and affects the accuracy of radar precipitation estimate.The radial block correcting system developed by using the C# language is mainly introduced in this article,which combines Zhaoqing's radar base data with Guangzhou's to synthesize a kind of new base data.Through using RPG and PUP to playback the new synthetic base data,it ensures products output stably and rapidly.The new base data corrects the data on the blockade,solves the radial occlusion problem of Zhaoqing weather radar effectively and improves the availability of radar data.
