Abstract Aiming at the shortcomings of wavelet threshold denoising method in the field of meteorological instruments,an improved wavelet threshold selection method is applied to improve the threshold function and get better denoising effect.On the basis of previous thresholds,the traditional soft and hard thresholds are modified and the shortcomings of soft and hard thresholds are improved,so as to get a new threshold function.Using Matlab simulation and algorithm's accuracy analysis,it is concluded that the improved wavelet threshold denoising method will achieve higher signal-to-noise ratio and smaller root mean square error,and has a good noise reduction effect.
