Abstract Through the study,without changing the electrical structure of the ADTD lightning locator device itself,this paper designs a horizontal rotation joint,which could be fixed in a certain position to make the core module in line with the orientation and the geographic north-south line of the observation field,and meets the requirement of Ground Meteorological Observation Specifications and Standardization of Surface Meteorological Observation Field (2015.08).And the equipment layout is unified and the orientation is consistent in the observation field.
