Abstract This paper analyzes the practical examples of barometric denaturation record in a high altitude meteorological observation.By observing the variation characteristics of radar-air pressure height error curve and the rising speed curve,the determination of sounding instrument denaturation and the selection of sounding termination point as well as the process of data processing are analyzed.The interpretation method and recording technique of pressure component denaturation are summarized and some problems in special record processing are put forward.The availability and timeliness of data are guaranteed,which can provide reference for improving the accuracy of weather forecast.
