Abstract In order to monitor and early warn squall line weather in Jiangxi and understand the characteristics of squall line process,the characteristics of squall line process in the middle and north of Jiangxi on May 5,2020 are analyzed by using conventional meteorological observation,numerical forecast,Doppler radar,FY satellite cloud image and other data.Firstly,this paper introduces the actual weather,weather background,physical quantity statistics and numerical forecast product analysis.Secondly,the evolution of radar echo and satellite cloud image is analyzed in detail.Finally,the influence of terrain on radar echo is discussed.The results of research and analysis are expected to provide theoretical basis for monitoring and early warning of squall line weather.
