Abstract In order to improve the monitoring and early warning ability of hail weather in Wuning,the process of large hail in Wuning on March 21,2020 was analyzed by using conventional weather map,sounding data,satellite cloud map and Jiangxi WebGIS radar puzzle.According to the weather conditions,the weather background and environmental conditions are expounded,and the large hail process caused by the influence of the external squall line echo system is analyzed in detail.The research results provide a theoretical basis for the monitoring and early warning and short-term and imminent forecast of hail weather in Wuning.
