Abstract In order to carry out hail weather monitoring and early warning,using MICAPS conventional weather map,Wuyuan rainfall data,Jiangxi WebGIS radar mosaic and Jingdezhen SA radar base data,the hail weather process in Wuyuan,Jiangxi province on March 31,2021 was analyzed by using mesoscale analysis,echo feature extraction and base data inversion.This paper introduces the weather data system in detail,analyzes the evolution process of hail radar echo,and the characteristics of radar echo CR products and single radar products.Finally,the radar echo characteristics of hail weather in Wuyuan are summarized and applied to short-term forecast and monitoring and early warning services.
