Abstract The atmospheric electric field instrument has been initially applied in the integrated meteorological observation system.Its main functions are to measure electric field value,temperature,voltage,control motor speed,and identify input commands and parameters.This paper introduces the working principle of the atmospheric electric field instrument,describes the composition and design features of the system in detail,explains the source code of the system in depth,and gives examples of common faults and processing,which provides powerful technical support for the observation of atmospheric electric field.
