Abstract This paper introduces the working principles and system structures of DSG5 precipitation phenomenon instrument.Aiming at a communication failure of RS-485 in Yicheng station,the fault treatment process is analyzed and summarized.At the same time,the mechanism of common-mode interference in RS-485 communication is discussed,which could provide a reference for dealing with similar faults in the future.
