Abstract Infrared simulation target has important application value in the design and test of infrared guidance weapon.In order to better use and research infrared simulation target,the advantages of infrared guidance compared with visible light guidance are analyzed.The research status of infrared target at home and abroad is summarized,and the development of infrared detection and infrared imaging guidance is briefly introduced.The principle of infrared imaging simulation is analyzed from three aspects of the condition of infrared imaging,the basic theory of infrared radiation and the atmospheric window of infrared radiation.The development direction of infrared simulation target is discussed from the aspects of simulation resolution,simulation dimension and temperature control.The research results can provide reference for equipment construction and testing.
