Abstract Based on the operation of DTD5 automatic frozen soil observation instrument at national station,the measuring principle and structure of the equipment are briefly described.The installation and debugging method is introduced in detail,and the equipment initialization parameter setting and output data format are given.By analyzing the faults of each unit,the maintenance method is given.
