Abstract The core network of Liaocheng meteorological bureau in Shandong province carries the communication of meteorological data of the whole city.In order to ensure the reliability of the data,this paper upgrades the municipal meteorological network.Network virtualization CSS stack technology is adopted to upgrade the municipal core switch and the operation and maintenance efficiency of the city's meteorological network are improved.The reconstruction plan provides a reference for the network design of meteorological departments at the same level.
