Abstract To analyze the difference in observation between the two instruments,this paper makes a comparative analysis of observation data between dark-tube sunshine recorder and DFC2 photoelectric digital sunshine recorder of Dongsheng national basic meteorological station from October 2018 to February 2019.The proportion and consistency of sunshine duration in manual observation and automatic observation are analyzed.And the average difference of daily sunshine hours and monthly sunshine hours are also described.It is concluded that the total hours of sunshine in manual observation days and months are less than that in automatic observation.The automatic observation instrument has obvious advantages of high sensitivity and high time resolution.
