Abstract Sunshine observation is the basic item of meteorological observation on the ground.The automatic observation of the sunshine is an important part of ground observation automation,which plays a strong role in promoting the overall automation of meteorological observation.Compared with manual measurement,photoelectric digital sunshine meter has better accuracy,which could provide accurate sunshine hours information for agriculture and tourism.This paper briefly introduces the structure,installation,debugging,maintenance and repair methods of DFC2 photoelectric digital sunshine meter,providing technical support for operators to use and maintain the equipment.
