Abstract The temporal and spatial characteristics of visibility in Beijing were analyzed by using hourly visibility data automatically observed by 20 national meteorological observation stations from 2016 to 2020.The relationship between visibility and other meteorological elements in Beijing are expounded.And finally a conclusion is drawn,which provides a basis for further grasping the temporal and spatial variation characteristics of visibility and understanding the relationship between visibility and other elements.
