| Study on the characteristics and return period of heavy precipitation in Fengcheng city |

Abstract In order to better understand the characteristics of short-term heavy precipitation in Fengcheng,the extreme value characteristics of heavy precipitation in different periods from 1980 to 2021 are summarized and analyzed by using conventional data,and the return period of heavy precipitation is studied based on Pearson Ⅲ function.The calculation diagram of heavy rainfall return period in Fengcheng city is given.The research results provide a reference for Fengcheng city to carry out heavy rainfall meteorological services.
