Analysis on characteristics of continuous heavy rain in Leping in mid June 2022

Abstract In order to better predict the heavy rainstorm weather,this paper uses MICAPS weather map,rainfall data of Leping automatic weather station and Jiangxi radar mosaic data,and adopts the principles of meteorology and radar meteorology to analyze the continuous heavy rainstorm process in Leping area from June 18 to 20,2022.This paper introduces the weather situation and weather background of continuous heavy rain,and analyzes the radar echo characteristics and echo vertical structure of short-term heavy precipitation in detail.Finally,the conclusion is drawn,in order to provide guidance for monitoring the short-term heavy precipitation weather in Leping heavy rain weather.
