Abstract Aiming at the problems of high cost,long period and unreliable reference value acquisition of traditional weather radar detection accuracy test method,this paper proposes a weather radar target detection accuracy test method based on Beidou sounding system.The method is applied to a type of weather radar identification test,and the target distance,azimuth angle and elevation angle obtained by converting latitude and longitude coordinates are used as reference values.The test results show that the method can be used for the performance evaluation test of weather radar equipment,and has the advantages of high precision,low cost and short cycle.
