Abstract In view of the situation that there is no measurement technical specification for the weighing precipitation sensor in the country,a field calibration method suitable for this equipment is proposed.The mathematical model of measurement error in the calibration process is established,and the uncertainty of the calibration result is analyzed and evaluated by an example.The results show that the calibration method is reasonable and effective,and the uncertainty evaluation results meet the relevant requirements of China's metrology,which provides technical support for the formulation of metrology specifications for this type of equipment.
