Abstract Taking the X-band dual-polarization phased array weather radar tower in a district of Zhaoqing as an example,this paper introduces the GUI calculation program of annual lightning strike frequency based on Python language.And the main points of visual three-dimensional modeling are expounded by using AutoCAD software.By using three-dimensional model combined with program calculation,the determination of annual expected lightning strike frequency is more accurate and intuitive,which could provide support for the actual work of lightning protection technicians.
