Analysis of wind field characteristics in Nanjing area based on coherent wind lidar data |

Abstract In order to further analyze the characteristics of wind field in Nanjing,the 1.5 μm all fiber coherent wind lidar was used to continuously observe the wind field along the Yangtze River in Qixia district of Nanjing for one year in the article.The reliability of radar observation data was verified by comparing with the wind field observation data of the nearby automatic meteorological station.Based on the radar observation data,the distribution characteristics of the low altitude wind field and the seasonal and daily variation of wind speed at the observation site are statistically analyzed,which has some reference to the assessment of wind resources in Nanjing.
