Abstract In order to better apply the optical rainfall sensor to field measurement,this paper builds the hardware platform of the optical rainfall sensor,uses the collector to obtain the image data,and then calculates the particle size and velocity after image processing,so as to realize the recognition of precipitation phenomenon through the V-D curve diagram,and provide power for the development of automatic meteorological observation.
