Abstract In order to improve the forecast effect of the model,this paper uses the EC model precipitation forecast data and the actual precipitation data from May to September in 2018—2020 in the southern Sichuan Basin,and adopts the frequency matching method to correct the 24 hours cumulative precipitation of the EC model.The correction coefficient of forecast deviation is given.The research results can improve the precipitation forecast ability of related areas.
