Data quality analysis and evaluation of DDW1 lightning locator |

Abstract In this paper,the detection principle of DDW1 lightning locator is introduced.By analyzing the lightning data during the trial operation of DDW1 lightning locator in Jiangsu Province,and comparing the detection category and quantity with slightly lower transmission data reporting rates of DDW1 and ADTD lightning locators,the results show that except for a few stations due to network problems,the others all reach 99%.Compared with ADTD lightning locator,DDW1 lightning locator has higher sensitivity,and the number of positive lightning detected is 5.8 times that of ADTD lightning locator,and the number of negative flashes is not significant between the two,and the ratio of positive and negative flashes of DDW1 lightning locator is 1∶1.8.The research results lay a foundation for the promotion and application of DDW1 lightning locator.
