Abstract In order to quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of the meteorological observation quality management system in Shandong Province,this paper compared and analyzed the business availability,data transmission quality,maintenance and repair information,user satisfaction survey and external supplier evaluation of various meteorological observation equipment before and after the operation of the meteorological observation quality management system in Shandong Province.The results indicate that the operation of the quality management system effectively improves the quality of business personnel,city level management and business personnel pay more attention to data quality and transmission quality.Through the constraints of quality management system,the timeliness of fault maintenance by business personnel has been improved.The results of user satisfaction survey and external supplier evaluation reflect that there is still room for improvement in daily observation business.In general,the operation of the meteorological observation quality management system has effectively improved the scientific and standardized level of observation business management,and promoted the quality of meteorological observation work in Shandong Province.
