Abstract  In this paper, the design and implementation of the product mapping system of numerical forecast model in Guangdong Province is introduced. The system is based on the NCL language, combined with a variety of tools, using a unified graphics rendering attribute management, efficient physical quantity calculation method, fast mapping technology and many other key technologies of data processing, which optimizes the speed of pattern data processing and mapping, and ensures the timeliness of business services of pattern graphics products. The model types include deterministic forecast, ensemble forecast, extended range forecast, environmental forecast and so on.There are nearly a hundred kinds of professional meteorological element graphic products, which strongly support the weather forecast and diagnostic analysis business in Guangdong Province.
