Abstract In order to solve the problem of abnormal echoes of Doppler radar,this paper focuses on introducting the generation mechanism of abnormal echo and secondary echo that accurred at Yinchuan Hedong Airport on July 4,2022,and analyzes and identifies the echo.The principles and adventages and disadvantages of batch processing and phase coding method for distance folding are summarized.The research results aime to provide support for the daily maintenance work of radar.
