Abstract:The article selects atmospheric transmissiometer and forward scatter meter measurement data under different weather conditions such as rain,snow,fog,and smoke when the Runway Visual Range of Shenyang Airport is less than 2 000 m.The data of the atmospheric transmissiometer LT31 and forward scatter meter FS11P at the 24th and 6th ends of the runway,and the data of the atmospheric transmissiometer LT31 and forward scatter meter FD12P at the middle end of the runway were compared,and the differences and reasons for the differences in measurement data of the atmospheric transmissiometer and forward scatter meter at Shenyang Airport were analyzed.Based on data comparison,it can be concluded that there are differences in the data measured by atmospheric transmissiometer and forward scatter meter under different weather conditions.Under the same weather conditions,the atmospheric transmissiometer LT31 in Shenyang Airport experienced long-term measurement values being low due to its automatic calibration PWD measurement reference value being too low.
