Abstract:In order to solve the problem of difficult monitoring of extreme rainfall,based on the principle of ultrasonic medium loss,the diffusion,scattering,absorption and attenuation characteristics of ultrasonic waves in rainy environments are analyzed.COMSOL Multiphysics fluid simulation software is used to carry out acoustic field simulation under different rainfall intensities,and the design of ultrasonic rainfall measurement method is completed.Design hardware circuits and conduct ultrasonic rain measurement method testing and verification.The experimental results show that the new rainfall measurement technology can achieve continuous monitoring of rainfall and has good real-time performance and measurement resolution.
