Abstract:The article provides a systematic and scientific evaluation and analysis of the wind measurement performance of ultrasonic anemometers through static testing and field experiments, providing decision support for the feasibility of applying ultrasonic anemometers in meteorological observation operations.Verify the feasibility of conducting field tests with ultrasonic anemometers based on static testing, and compare and analyze the wind measurement performance of the two anemometers using methods such as data integrity, correlation, and consistency. The experimental results show that the data integrity of the ultrasonic anemometer is poor, and there is a strong correlation between the wind speeds of the two anemometers, with correlation coefficients above 0.89.The consistency of wind direction between the two is significant, and the wind direction consistency at 2 minutes is better than that at 10 minutes. When the wind speed is above 5 m/s,the system deviation of the average wind speed at 2 min and 10 min is less than 0.1 m/s,and the standard deviation is less than 0.9 m/s.The system deviation of the average wind direction at 2 min and 10 min is less than 5°,and the standard deviation is about 40°.The system deviation and standard deviation of the average wind direction and speed at 2 min and 10 min are not significantly different. The test results have verified the wind measurement performance of the ultrasonic anemometer, and the average wind speed of the two wind directions can be used as a reference value for meteorological elements for relevant departments.
