Abstract:This article uses meteorological data from the National Benchmark Climate Station of Weining County from 1994 to 2023 and the carrot planting situation in Weining County to analyze the ecological characteristics, planting climate conditions, main meteorological disasters, and defense measures of carrots in Weining County.The results showed that the average growth rate of plant height reached its maximum value 4560 days after sowing, and the average growth rate of fleshy roots showed a main peak and a secondary peak at 6075 days after sowing 90105 days.Based on the meteorological conditions required for the good growth of carrots and the analysis of temperature and rainfall in each township, it is believed that nine townships, including Zhongshui and Yulong, are suitable for growing carrots.Floods, hail, and low temperatures are the main meteorological disasters that affect the growth of carrots.Propose defense measures for meteorological disasters and guide farmers to seek benefits and avoid harm.
