Abstract:Based on the parallel observation data of the meteorological elements including pressure,temperature,relative humidity,wind direction,wind speed and amount of precipitation provided by the automatic weather station and man-made weather station of the national benchmark climate station in Shouxian collected from January 1,2003 to October 31,2012,and by using mathematical statistics method,this paper compares the meteorological elements data of automatic and manual observation difference,mean value of difference,difference of standard deviation,skewness,kurtosis,wind direction consistent rate,linear regression,and briefly analyzes the causes of the differences.The results show that there are some differences in the observation data based on the two observation methods,but within allowable accuracy range.It also points out that besides the differences caused by instrument performances,operation principles,acquisition time and methods,the changes of the observation environments,such as the adjustment of the barometers,anemograph and the sensors height in November 2016,is also the key reason that arises the differences.
