Abstract：The Sunshine duration is a basic item in surface meteorological observation. in chinese surface meteorological observation business, we long-term use the Jordan sunshine recorder for sunshine duration observation, due to it’s low automation and low precision, the data’s comparability and consistency is difficult to guarantee. in this article, based on the a review of Sunshine recorder’s measuring principle, performance parameter etc. in the world, the author analyzes a trend to enter the business application in future.
