Abstract：L-band high-altitude weather detection system is a new generation of high-altitude sounding system that has been independently developed in China. It has many characteristics for example, high degree of automation, high accuracy, aging fast and new interface, easy to use and so on.
L-band radar Detection system began to run on April 1, 2010 in Changchun Meteorological Observation at 7:00 in morning. After nearly a year of use, staff has a more profound understanding of operational procedures and improves to understand of the characteristics of it. We have gradually worked out a suitable method of operation and characteristics for Jilin province. In this paper, problems encountered and precautions and some treatments in use have been summed up. It is useful for staff in business, research and management.
