Abstract：Under the condition of national reform,based on observation habit developed by many years, there exists some confusion in weather phenomenon recording after national reformfor ground meteorological observation. Based on years of work experience and comprehension about technological rule of business reform,and from the following aspects of weather phenomenon coding,important weather report,recording method, maintenance of fixed time data and A file,this paper analyses principal variation of weather phenomenon recording which is brought by the ground meteorological observation reform. The weather phenomenon recording that is appliedto basic business reform is summarized, which can provide references for observers engaged in practical ground meteorological observation. It can also make service staff read meteorological information clearly, which is helpful to steady increase observation quality at the beginning of the reform.
