Abstract：This paper studies the requirements of water surface evaporation monitoring and the technical means of automatic evaporation monitoring at the present stage in detail.And several important factors that need to be considered in automatic evaporation monitoring are analyzed,and a determination method of automatic monitoring resolution is proposed,which provides the basic support for the development of practical and available automatic evaporation monitoring equipment.
