Abstract:The precipitation data are inversed by using the observation data of precipitation phenomenon instrument.And the precipitation observation data of the precipitation phenomenon instrument and the double tipping-bucket rain gauge at Tianjin climate monitoring station from April to September in 2018 were compared and analyzed.The analysis of two precipitation processes shows that precipitation phenomenon instrument can effectively improve the accuracy of the beginning and ending time of precipitation which is the disadvantage of using rain gauge.Under the condition of heavy rain,it is easy to cause the overestimate of the observation precipitation by using precipitation phenomenon instrument.And during the observation,it is more sensitive to the impact on observed environment and wind for precipitation phenomenon tastrument than the tipping-bucket rain-gauge.
