Abstract On the premise of ensuring calibration quality, for the sake of saving the cost, the contrast experiment is carried out among 4 rainfall sensor verification devices owned by our company.The errors in calibration quality of rainfall senor measured by different devices are analyzed.The results show that the cost performance of ZBC5 rainfall verification device, JJS1 tipping bucket rainfall sensor calibration instrument, JJS2 rainfall calibrator and JJS3 rainfall detection system are all relatively high, which are suitable for being the verification device of the rainfall sensor.And the JJS1 tipping bucket rainfall sensor calibration instrument and JJS2 rainfall calibrator are used for the field calibration.The ZBC5 rainfall verification device and JJS3 rainfall detection system are applied in indoor verification and calibration.
