Abstract The tsunami is one of the most terrible natural disasters and the early warning of it can reduce the life and property loss for the people.This paper introduces the generation and propagating characteristics of the tsunami,and systematic analyzes its warning status and disaster prevention in China.It also puts forward how to enhance tsunami monitoring,early warning and prevention measures,which can improve our synthetic navigation safeguard system.
